Director Biography – Fanny Texier
Fanny Texier is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker born and raised in Paris, France. As a director, Fanny looks to give voice to untold stories from women, and those underrepresented in traditional media. Through cinematic camerawork and intimate interviews, she brings a well of curiosity and an eye for the unusual to her documentary storytelling.
As a freelance video journalist, Fanny has directed, shot and edited stories for the New Yorker, Vice, the New York Post, BBC and Al Jazeera. Fanny has also directed and edited projects for P&G, Air Canada, Bank of America, the Bill Gates Foundation and internationally acclaimed artists such as Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion, Teyana Taylor and Kehlani.
