The theme of the festival was “MEMORIES”.
Every film showcased was about the past – Character reflection. Terrible history. Nostalgic history. All things past.
NOTE: This was the 4th festival showcasing the best of DOCUMENTARY Short Films at the festival. We are receiving so many amazing DOC SHORTS that we will have 1 more documentary festival in 2017 and 6 in 2018.
This was a two part night. The first half was the best of LGBT documentary short films made in 2017. And the 2nd half was a showcase of two “epic” short films. A film from Disney, and a film destined to be grown into a feature film (My Name is Joan).
We took a risk with this festival’s format as this was the longest running time of films we have ever had in the history of the FEEDBACK Film Festival. And it worked. People are okay with watching short films that are longer than 25 minutes. So we plan on showing more in the future.
