History is written by normal people working collectively for the cause of justice. Though it was shot before Covid 19, the film, How History is Written uses the metaphor of a virus to describe fascism. Like a virus, fascism can remain dormant for long periods of time. But when the conditions are right, it can mutate into its full form. The film is not simply another chronicle of the events of WWII, but a very personal story that examines the parallels between our time and the 1930’s.
