Tom Tanquary has worked in documentary, journalism, and reality-based programing for over 40 years. The last 25 years, as a freelance DP and director, he has worked primarily for NBC News and the show Dateline.
Director Statement
This project was done out my love for newspaper comics strips and their incredible power and influence. The film explores the rich history of their influence on society as well as the relationship of the reader and cartoonist.
