DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL – Thursday April 5th, 2018

The FEEDBACK Monthly Film Festival coming to Los Angeles.. Our LA home is Regal L.A. LIVE Cinemas, located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles (beside the Staples Center) at 1000 W Olympic Blvd.. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.

Showcasing the best of short films from around the world, while maintaining our audience feedback format moderated by Shepsut Wilson.

Tickets for are FREE or PAY WHAT YOU LIKE. Reserve your tickets online.

For years Kwok Wai Chan has orchestrated the making of Sunday dinner. From early morning tea to shopping to the intricacies and timing of cooking the food from his childhood, sustaining a weekly tradition that now spans the generations. This is a Chinese ritual as American as apple pie.

SCORCHED: MINE FIRES IN PENNSYLVANIA COAL COUNTRY, 6min., USA, Documentary

A look at the hidden legacy of coal mining in Pennsylvania by examining 5 of the approximate 80 coal mine fires that burn across the state.

A GOOD BLINDER, 26min., USA, Documentary
Directed by Mike Grundmann

“A Good Blinder” is a documentary about 75-year-old Dan Bowman of Harrisonburg, VA who lost his sight at age 12, became a piano tuner and crafts fine furniture for charity auctions using power tools and precision instruments. He still has all 10 fingers, a lively wit and a theologically trained mind that makes for profound reflection.
