Directed by Chris Hale
Documentary film about a refugee camp for Syrian Kurds in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Director Statement:
This is a film I produced, directed, filmed and edited about a refugee camp for Syrian Kurds in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Having worked in Kurdistan for the BBC, when the current conflict threatened the existence of some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the honour of meeting I had to something.
With the help of friends and family, a credit card and the goodwill of an amazing crew, I returned to try and show at least some of the story of people who deserve better and who deserve to be heard.
